Prof. Morgan Chetty is the Chairman of the IPA Foundation. He is also the Vice – Chairman of the SAMCC and Chairman and head of Managed Care and Associate Prof of Research at DUT. Prof Chetty has been appointed as associate Professor and head of Managed Care and Health Services Management at the University of KwaZulu Natal, Nelson Mandela – School of Medicine. He also consults for a variety of medical and related groupings in South Africa. Registered as specialist Family Physician. He is a prolific writer on Managed Care, and speaker at numerous conferences.

Dr Unben Pillay

Dr. Unben Pillay is the IPAF CEO. He is currently the CEO of Alliance of SA IPA’s (ASAIPA). Dr Pillay has been in private practice for 18 years and currently runs a family practice in Midrand. He started the first Smart Health Summit in South Africa in 2023

Dr. Elijah Nkosi

Dr. Elijah Nkosi is the Secretarty of IPA Foundation. Executive Director of the South African Medical and Dental Practitioners (SAMDP). CEO and founding director of the SA Medical and Dental Practitioners (SAMDP) Provider Network, SPNet, Former chairman of the board at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital from 1999 to 2012. Dr Nkosi is practicing as a Family Practitioner in Soweto.

Dr. Phashe Magagane is a Director on the board of the IPA foundation and full-time General Practitioner in Soshanguve, Current Chairperson of ODI IPA and Director for SAMCC and a Admitted Advocate of the HC Special interest in Medico-Legal matters

Dr. Mukesh Govind

Dr. Mukesh Govind is the Director in charge of IT and Communication. Managing Director for Johannesburg City Medical Group (JCMG). On the Board of Directors for Gauteng Managed Care Coalition (GMCC). Chairman of the Gauteng General Practitioners Forum (GGPF) and Chairman of South African Medical Contracted Community (SAMCC). He is currently practicing as a family practitioner in Yeoville.

Dr Mike Nicholas

Dr Mike Nicholas obtained the MB,ChB degree at Stellenbosch University as well as a Diploma in Occupational Medicine. He has been in private practice in Sea Point, Cape Town, since 1985. He is passionate about the rightful role that GP’s should play as gatekeepers, as well as the survival of the General Practitioner in South Africa and has been involved in medical politics since the early days of GPNet.

Dr. Tony Behrman is Director on the board of the IPA foundation.Chief Executive Officer of Cape Primary Care / Qualicare IPA, Western Cape. Director of South African Medical Contracted Community (SAMCC). 22 Years General Practitioner in Western Cape and 17 years of medico-legal experience.

Mr Hermann Kohloffel

Mr Hermann Kohloffel is the Treasurer of IPAF. He is also Managing Director of IPA Operations Investment Company, Healthcare Administration and Property Investor. He has extensive business exposure with over 25 years in Healthcare Economics, Management , Administration, Consulting, Managed Care ,Group and Multidisciplinary Practice Management, Emergency Services, Strategic Planning and Restructuring.
